Falcon Build Progress Report #10: Now add this part to the Bottom BUT DON’T BREAK ANYTHING

Today saw more additions to the underside of the Falcon’s mid-section (ergo the weird photo angle). We added a couple of panelling sections and we added the Falcon’s belly turret. The panelling sections had a lot of connectors that will hopefully factor into sections that I will add in the coming weeks. The belly turret looks pretty cool though. Its construction seemed fairly robust and solid. Fitting it was a bit more of a challenge as you can imagine. The falcon may only be halfway finished but it is still almost three feet by two feet. So it’s ungainly to move and especially to add from the bottom up. I understand why this is where it is in the assembly schedule but that doesn’t necessarily mak e it super simple. Well…no one said it would or even should be easy… See you next week!
