LEGO - UCS Millennium Falcon - A Builder’s Tale (PART 13/14)

Falcon Build Progress Report #13/14: Making dat booty POP

This weekend saw both build sessions being executed on Sunday. Unfortunately this pesky thing called a career noisily interjected into my Saturday and while I was able to run errands and do some squirrel casting yesterday the long, quietvstretch of time needed to focus on the Falcon did not avail itself. That's OK. Saturday was very productive and expensive in other ways. So today saw the completion (?) of the aft quarters of the ship. Bag(s) 13 & 14 were panelling work that was not so hard to build (aside from the never ending details) but tricky to install. The designers made it so that these top panels fit in place but are not too secure or else you (as the model builder) would not be able to lift them out and show all the cute girls you bring over to your suburban love palace the very intrcate details that were worked into the interior design as well. I mean some day I have to be able to find some sort of way to impress a Latina bombshell with the long, dark hair, full lips, killer boot....I mean show my treasured fiends and family the fruits of my hobbyist labours and give credence to all the hours they spent reading my novella length progress reports...(no, but seriously, people - this would impress pretty girls right? This Lego cost a lot of money. Hot girls that read this - hit me up - sorry no hablo Espagnol). AHEM - so aft session completed (I think) - OH and we passed the 1,000 mark in this steps of the instruction manual
