LEGO - UCS Millennium Falcon - A Builder’s Tale (PART 2)

Falcon Build Progress Report #2: The Assembly Line
Today saw a much shorter and less eventful build session. We worked on legs - which is exactly what 90% of gym bros used to never do. It was essentially 3 pages in the 500 page instruction manual but those 3 pages had to be repeated for all 6 legs so instead of going 1 by 1 I decided to do each step 6 times and push forward. It didn’t necessarily save time but I feel like it might have increased quality control through the process. It’s interesting - some Lego blocks are almost indestructible but others you need to be very aware of how to apply pressure or you could damage them. The assembly line approach, I feel, helped with that too. I made it such that all the really fragile bits had to be handled at once and that really helped me to focus. Next build may be in a week or so but hey, progress is progress. #lego #starwars #milleniumfalcon #whathaveistarted #uhoh #hereswherethefunbegins #thisisntpodracing
