LEGO - UCS Millennium Falcon - A Builder’s Tale (PART 6)

Falcon Build Progress Report #6: What Have I Been Doing for The Last Hour? Oh now I get it. Cool!

As is typical with Sunday build sessions so far today’s Bag(s) #6 session was by orders of magnitude less frenetic than yesterday’s. Less caffeine. Less shaking. Less squinting. And, as is typical with whatever I say one day being proven categorically false the next, today’s build session brought visual changes to the Falcon as a whole. While yesterday was an engine day; today saw work on the front wedges / mandibles. And for the first hour or so I wasn’t quite sure what the heck I was doing. I was following the steps, I was sticking on the bricks and putting in the connectors but I wasn’t quite sure where I was going with it until I finally added the first wedge to the main structure and I was like “oh! Now I get it! That was a cool way of designing that section. So nice session. A little over two hours and so actual visual progress on the whole. See you next week!
